An exciting update more than a blog post.
I previously blogged about the amazing research and work, undertaken by Sugata Mitra, in regard to self-organised learning environments. You can read my post here and learn all about how, and why, they work.
I've now opened a new section of the site which can be used to run your own. Simply open the SOLE page (linked from the main page). From here, enter a research subject - this could be a single word or a question. You can also enter a brief goal that explains what is required and how research should be presented. Set the timer and away you go! The page should help to develop those student-led learning skills - independence, leadership, confidence, resilience; the list goes on. You shouldn't do anything more than facilitate the learning during this time. It really is that simple!

Sugata Mitra has also developed his own site which can help you generate planning and objectives if you require them. Either way, I would suggest signing up as you can stay up to date with the latest trends and experimentation! It can be found by clicking here.
If you give this new page a whirl, I would love to hear how you get on, so sign in and leave me a message. I hope you, and your group, enjoy using it!
